Professional Background
As a professional fundraiser with Bazaar Marketing , I raised over 10 million dollars for various Charities in Eastern Ontario. While in this professional capacity my wife, Cheryl and I were active in the community and fostered many children from the Brockville Children's Aid Society, while also raising our own 5 children.
This love of working with children developed into "FreshStart Youth Services" which is celebrating it's 10th Anniversary in 2009. This youth care system with an attached therapeutic riding program employs app. 35 full and part-time employees in our community and more importantly assists twenty disadvantaged youth from our community in their struggle to achieve family or independent living goals.
The real estate research, acquisition, and subsequent property management acquired during these years developed my love of real estate investing and subsequent licensing as a real estate salesperson. I have been investing in rental properties for over a decade and consider the 416 corridor and the St. Lawrence River / Thousand Island area to have many exciting investment opportunities. My family currently lives on the bank of the Majestic St. Lawrence near Prescott.
